Dr. Tajim Md. NiamatUllah Akhund is a distinguished Bangladeshi researcher and engineer. He earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Information Technology from Jahangirnagar University before beginning his academic career as a Lecturer at Daffodil International University.

Awarded the prestigious MEXT Scholarship, Dr. Akhund pursued his Ph.D. at Saga University, Japan, where his research contributions gained significant recognition. He has authored 45 scholarly publications indexed on Google Scholar, which have been cited more than 500 times globally.

Currently, he serves as a Research Fellow at Toyota Technological Institute, Japan, advancing cutting-edge research in his field. In 2023, Dr. Akhund joined BigyanPriyo as an Honorable Advisor, contributing his expertise to strengthen science communication and education in Bangladesh.
