Our Story
Shaping Fear Into Curiosity
BigyanPriyo started its journey on 1st December 2018, the birthday of the famous Bengali scientist Dr. Kudrat-E-Khuda, with a Facebook group as an open forum for those who once hated or feared science.
At BigyanPriyo, we believe in making science accessible to every Bengali speaker by breaking barriers of inequality and misinformation. As the first large-scale science communication platform in Bangladesh, we have embarked on a mission to democratize knowledge and build a science-minded society. Our journey began with the vision of transforming curiosity into understanding, and myths into evidence-based thinking. From fighting pseudoscience to bringing cutting-edge discoveries in simple Bengali, BigyanPriyo is built on the principles of clarity, accessibility, and community impact.
